Pre-launch — building in the open

A typing curriculum built around games kids choose to play

TypeCheetah pairs a library of typing games with adaptive practice, plus the teacher and parent tools that make progress visible. We're pre-product and building this with real classrooms and families, not around them.

Every feature below is labeled In development or Planned so you know exactly where things stand.

The teacher dashboard we're building

In development

Teachers will see class-wide progress at a glance, with alerts when a student needs extra support. Here's an early concept of what that looks like.

What we're building

A look at the curriculum and tools in progress, labeled honestly.

In development

Game-based lessons

Students pick from a library of typing games mapped to keyboarding skills, so practice feels like play instead of a drill.

In development

Adaptive practice

Difficulty adjusts to each student's pace, targeting the keys and patterns they're struggling with most.

In development

Teacher dashboard & alerts

Class-wide progress at a glance, with alerts when a student falls behind or needs extra support.

Planned

Parent dashboard (homeschool)

A simplified view for homeschool parents to track progress and set practice goals, no classroom setup required.

Planned

Automated grading

Lesson completion and accuracy scored automatically, so teachers spend less time on manual assessment.

Planned

Standards alignment

A design goal for our curriculum team: mapping lesson content to state keyboarding and technology standards.

In development

Device flexibility

Built as a web app to run on the Chromebooks, tablets, and desktops schools already have in the classroom.

Planned integrations

Planned

Rostering and single sign-on for the tools schools already use are on our roadmap. None of these are live yet, and we're not certified or partnered with any of them.

Google Classroom

Assignment and roster sync with Google Classroom.

Planned

Clever

Single sign-on and roster sync through Clever.

Planned

ClassLink

SSO and rostering support for districts using ClassLink.

Planned

Two ways to get involved early
